I have set my Goals for myself to do well with being and Arbonne, and Willow House Consultant this year, no matter what hills I have to climb, and they may not be easy ones. Here is what I have done so far:
Wednesday- February 29th, 2012, even thought I knew, and I had tried before to get 150 under my Arbonne Consultant number to renew for another year, and had no luck before, I climbed the many of mountains that were put before me on Wednesday, just to keep being a consultant for another year.
1. I was asking everyone I knew if they could at least purchase 50 dollars worth of stuff, this was a task in it's own. I finally had a friend help me find someone, and then another friend purchase some things. I'm so appreciative of all three of them.
2. I went to put the orders in on my number, my number no longer worked, I had to call Arbonne and be put on hold for a half hour since they were very busy (last day of the month) to renew for another year.
3. I had forgot my password to get on the website to put the order in, clicked the option to have the password sent to me, and it never showed to either of my accounts. :/ Thankfully awhile later it ended up working for my upline to get on, and later for me.
During this period of time over a couple of hours, I was sooooo... stressed, and broke out some wine, nothing seemed to work for me and I could have easily given up and just said that maybe Arbonne is just not for me and give up. BUT I DIDN'T!! I may have had EVERYTHING go wrong for me, just to renew for another year, but I just climbed the mountains and got over those, and I'm ready to climb the next mountains in order to succeed, I can do this~
Thursday, March 1st~ I had my best friend/sister from another mother, lol, order from me. She made my day~
Friday, March 2nd, Yeah, I failed this day, maybe it can be considered my "day off?!?!" Because I didn't do much with Arbonne~ (I did get my hair cut, and colored today, in hopes maybe I will look better as a consultant, and not overgrown hair that needs colored)
Saturday, March 3rd, Well, I had to hunt down my "missing" catalogs, business cards, flyers, etc. that I hadn't seen since we had moved. And yes, thankfully they have been found. Next goal, I had asked my husband if I could have an "organized" place in the office to put all of my Willow House stuff, and Arbonne, and he said the other desk. Hopefully I can get everything organized in that desk tomorrow so I can easily get to anything I need, instead of searching for it. Maybe with the organization I will aim to be a better consultant also.
And this is where my title comes in, The New Girl In Town..... For those that know me in person, know that I'm not a very outgoing person, really I'm shy, reserved and keep to myself. Some may think I'm snobby, but I'm not, just those other things that are listed.
There was a vendors event today, that I didn't have a booth at, but thought I could go and "exchange parties" with some of the other vendors. That way I can get some parties on my books, and hopefully start to get some of my business going. Well, I talked to three ladies, and I will get further contact with them this next week, setting up dates. But, I was at one table, a Scentsy table, where it was kid of fun. She had a sheet where you could smell all the scents, and then you mark on the sheet which ones, that aren't for you, you like, love, and have to have. So I was having fun filling that out, and I had thought about buying something that wasn't to expensive, but I thought I had to have. Well, nobody even came to greet me, to even know who's table it was. Guess what, I didn't even buy it.
While I was at this table, I overheard some of the ladies talking, not meaning to listen to their conversation, but I was standing here alone and had no one else to talk to. as I was smelling all of these scents. They were talking about how this Fort we are at now, a lot of the Army Wives, have their own groups and really don't allow anyone else in. They were talking about how "They are not like that, and how nice they are." Well let me tell you, the ENTIRE time I was there, none of "those" ladies had said ANYTHING to me. I felt really uncomfortable. I did meet two nice ladies, and two alright ladies. But that was a lot for me to put myself out as a Consultant, and a person going to a new area, new house, and meeting new people I had never met before only to have most of them act like they were to good. I'm not going to let that get to me to much, and I will still go to things I'm invited to, and still try and meet new people, and who knows, even along the way maybe I can meet a new friend here.
I need to go finish dinner, I'm having a "date night in" with my husband tonight.(after we put the kids to bed, so we can have dinner with out our 3 little ones running around) I'm making homemade shredded beef taquitos, and Jalapeno popper dip. Nothing to fancy, (our last date night dinner in was a little more fancy, trying to mix it up a bit). I will let you know how everything turns out tomorrow.
Then New Gal In Town

A year long break....
I can't believe that is has been just over a year since I wrote my last blog on here. So much has happened since then. WE MOVED! And my husband has been back from his deployment almost a year, I can't believe it.
The life of an Army family is always changing. It seems that you cannot enjoy a year with out knowing your moving, or your spouse is deploying. Or, maybe that is just for our family, 10.5 years of being married (almost) my husband being deployed 4 times, and 4 moves in 4 years. Washington to Maryland to Colorado to here. Here is a secret, but we are back on the East Coast, again. ;0
Yet again, we had our house packed up in one state, and had every last one of our belongings moved a few states away. It is always a sad/happy experience when you see your belongings moving on a truck. Your sad because your moving from what you have known, and the people who have become your close friends for x amount of years, for us it was 2. But yet your excited because your journey in life is always changing, and new and fun things are yet to come in your future in the new state that you are headed to.
So, we are here, all unpacked, but yet some organizing to do. Trying to get to know a new area, new state for the 3rd time, and enjoying every last experience you get with your new "long" vacation. Or, well, that is what I like to think of it as (or maybe since we have moved so much, that is what it has felt like for me for 4 years).
I'm also using this new beginning in a new state to re-start my home business's. Last year was rough with the deployment, and then shortly after finding out we were moving and dealing with everything that came with that. I know I can do this, I will make this my best year as an Arbonne, and Willow House Consultant. This will be my year to shine!
Hopefully I will get on here more and let you know what is going on (if anyone is still interested) :)
So here it is, here is to my new beginning!
